Change in the management at Feinmetall

There is a change in management at Feinmetall.

Dr. Peter Geiselhart will hand over the management of Feinmetall to younger hands on October 1, 2022.

Two experienced executives will take over the management of the company: Patrik Dinser and Thorsten Kern. The change in management took place as part of a succession plan planned for the long term. Wolfgang Bürkle, co-owner as well as managing director of the owner holding company, thanked Geiselhart for his work and expressed his confidence that Feinmetall is very well positioned with the rejuvenated management.

Dr. Peter Geiselhart is handing over the management of Feinmetall to the new management team and will continue to support the company as an advisor. He had taken over Feinmetall's management in January 2019 after owner Wolfgang Bürkle withdrew from the operational business. "We shareholders would like to thank Dr. Geiselhart for his dedicated commitment during a difficult period triggered by the Covid pandemic. He has given the company important forward-looking impulses as well as initiated structural innovations. We are pleased that he will continue to support us in an advisory capacity in the near future," emphasizes Wolfgang Bürkle.

The new management team consists of Patrik Dinser and Thorsten Kern. Business economist Patrik Dinser joined Feinmetall in 2002 as purchasing manager, and in 2010 he was appointed commercial manager. Patrik Dinser, who is now 50 years old, has 20 years of management experience in the company and has held responsibility as an authorized signatory for many years. Thorsten Kern began his career at Feinmetall in 2009 as assistant to the management, later the industrial engineer took over business development, since 2014 the now 40-year-old has been in charge of the production areas and since 2020 he has been technical manager.

"Patrik Dinser and Thorsten Kern are a well-coordinated team, know all the company's divisions and are the right people for the further development of Feinmetall. They have proven to be capable and extremely committed managers over many years at Feinmetall. We are sure that we have made the optimal choice in appointing them as new managing directors and wish them every success," says co-owner Wolfgang Bürkle.

Feinmetall has been a leading manufacturer of contacting solutions for the electrical, automotive and semiconductor industries for over 55 years.
