We are looking for a full-time Technical Buyer (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Location: Herrenberg near Stuttgart

Here's what you can expect:

  • Strategic Sourcing of Technical Components and Assemblies
  • Selection, evaluation, and development of sustainable supplier relationships
  • Conducting strategic price and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers
  • Analysis of procurement markets and identification of cost-saving opportunities
  • Close collaboration with production, development, and quality assurance
  • Project support: Assisting with development projects as the Interface between purchasing, engineering, and product management
  • Conducting cost analyses and identifying potential savings
  • Participation in make-or-buy decisions and projects

What you bring to the table:

  • Completed technical or business training
  • Several years of professional experience in technical or strategic procurement within a manufacturing company
  • Technical understanding and the ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Confidence in negotiating in German and English and the ability to assert oneself when dealing with suppliers
  • Structured, independent, and pragmatic approach to work
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • SAP knowledge, particularly in the mm module, is a plus
