Technical Product Designer

With the training as a technical product designer at Feinmetall you decide for an exciting and varied profession. You are actively involved in the development, planning and design processes of new products and work closely with our designers. With us you will be trained as an all-rounder, because you will not only learn how to create three-dimensional data models and their technical documentation, but also acquire important skills in the field of materials and production engineering. In addition to acquiring technical know-how, you will be trained as a financial expert for your projects. You will also acquire a profound knowledge of operational and technical communication and be trained as a specialist in safety, health and environmental protection. This is a component that will make you an attractive employee in the future. We encourage our trainees to take the next career step

This means that after successfully completing your apprenticeship and two years of work experience, you have the opportunity to train as an industrial foreman and state-certified technician. After successfully passing the examination for industrial foreman or technician, you can obtain the highest level of all IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) training courses by completing further training to become a technical business administrator. This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to take on a management position in the future and is looking for a great alternative to studying. In addition to advanced training, we also offer a wide range of continuing education opportunities.

A job at the engineering level is then quite possible. Hard work pays off. You want to go even higher? No problem! By taking additional courses during your three-year apprenticeship as a technical product designer, you can earn your entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences and start a technical degree program after completing your apprenticeship.
