Connection type (flux-proof)

A flux-proof connection type is designed in such a way that no solder or flux can penetrate the Contact Probe or moving components during the soldering process. This prevents the mobility of the contact piston from being restricted or the electrical function from being impaired in the long term. Flux-proof designs contribute significantly to process reliability, consistent contact quality, and the extended lifetime of contact systems.

FAQ

A flux-proof connection type prevents solder from penetrating into the interior of the contacting element.

It protects the element from functional impairments and increases process reliability.

It is primarily used in permanently soldered Test Fixtures and series applications.
