Connector Testing
Connector Testing is a test procedure for checking connectors for electrical continuity, contact quality, and correct mechanical fit. The aim is to ensure reliable signal and current transmission and to detect assembly or contact errors at an early stage.
Different test probes are used depending on the requirements. Kelvin Probes can also be applied for particularly precise resistance measurements in order to determine transition resistance accurately.
FAQ
Typical examples are continuity, transition resistance, insulation behavior, and, where applicable, high-voltage resistance.
In cable assembly, component assembly, and End-Of-Line Test for final quality assurance.
They enable accurate resistance measurements, as the measurement and current paths are kept separate.
